There a bit about Ed in the sequel; there's more in the one I'm writing now, though the meat of his stuff will probably be another story or two down the road. (I might have to re-edit "Delivered" as a result.) Anything in particular you're curious about? I didn't write the funeral itself because the only funeral I've attended that I clearly remember was in Spanish, so I'm not entirely certain how they go....
First, forgive me if I miss any comments. The Comcast email server that is supposed to be serving me is down. :P So, I haven't gotten an email since noon. I double-checked here knowing you were replying to me earlier.
So, I'm curious if Ed actually did the eulogy since he made a stink about it.
My first funeral? My mother's. I was 19 and it was horrible. But honestly, it gave me one of my best descriptive lines in my fiction writing course in college. Obviously I was using writing to work through my mom's death. I'm actually still writing about it. I'm not sure if it's helping or hindering at this point.
Yes, Ed did the eulogy, partly in a spirit of show-up-big-brother. (Big brother didn't particularly care, so long as he followed through.)
I can't imagine losing my mother at 19, and I'm sorry you did. *hug*
It's half midnight here, so I'm off to bed ... good night. I should have gone to bed two hours ago, since I'm still in the process of shaking this bug. :/

I am curious about Ed's participation in the funeral. Is there more about him in the sequel? If not, I think it's a good idea for a "missing scene."
*claps* Brava.
